Candy V (they / them) is a storyteller, poet, filmmaker, and the host of Quantum Mixtape, the absurdist talkshow where anything can happen. They also co-host The Talkies from Karman Line Studios and a philosophy podcast called D and Candy V. Candy’s filmography includes the award-winning documentary Nature Kids (2012), which screened on every continent and is still used in classrooms around the world. In 2016, their short film Estamos Aqui: A Celebration of Nature y Cultura premiered at The White House, and their feature documentary Healing Us was narrated by Academy Award–winner Susan Sarandon.

Candy regularly publishes orginal poetry and is the author of The Roots that Weren’t Broken: Healing from Trauma in the Garden and Beyond (coming 2026).
